Lawrence Simon is a forensic psychologists who has worked with some of the United States' most dangerous inmates. Simon has authored several books related to his experiences interviewing psychopaths and helping to solve the crimes they commit. Simon's lyrics and music is inspired the prison environment and the stories of the criminals he has come to know. This music defies a single genre incorporating alternative rock with electronica. There are goth themes, and electronic beats, all grounded by organic rock guitar.
